⬣//How does bonus activity work?

Bonus rewards are earned by submitting additional threads beyond what is required for AC. Bonuses come in the form of level ups and gold. Unique equipment can also be earned through bonus activity.

While threads may be submitted at any time, they must have been started within the current or previous month to count towards bonuses (e.g. during August, threads started in July or August may be submitted at any time, but threads started in June or earlier cannot be turned in).

⬣//Leveling up

Completing minimum activity requirements will boost your character a total of five levels, after which they will gain one level per three comments posted.

Each month, the level cap rises by 25 levels up to a maximum of 100. Players cannot exceed the monthly level cap, but there is no limit on how many levels are gained per month (e.g., if you are level 25 and the current cap is 75, you can level up a maximum of 50 times).

If you fall behind, don’t fret! There will be power leveling events to help you catch up to your friends, so keep an eye out on upcoming events.

⬣//Currency

Players earn gold that can be used to buy equipment, items, guild upgrades, and more for each tag submitted.

Tags submitted for base activity earn 100 gold each.

Any tags exceeding base activity earn 150 gold each.

You can earn a maximum of 10,000 gold per 25 levels. This still takes the monthly level cap into consideration.

⬣//Unique Equipment & Weapons

Reaching the level cap each month will earn your character a set of rare equipment and a weapon unique to them. These items cannot be acquired elsewhere and are tailored to their specific tastes.

This is a special reward that may only be acquired by hitting the current month’s level cap (e.g., hitting level 25 when the current cap is 50 will not earn you this reward).

⬣//Spells & Skills

Your character’s spells and skills level up with them, evolving into stronger forms every 25 levels. At level 100, a unique set of spells tailored to your specific character will be issued to them. For more information on unlocking spells, check out the Spells and Skills pages.

⬣//Submitting

Please create a permanent top level with your player name in the subject line. Reply to that comment with your character’s name and canon in the subject line. You will need to do this for each character you have in the game. All submissions must be submitted under your character’s top-level or they will not be processed.

Complete the following form and calculate your totals. You may submit threads for bonus activity at any time, but please allow 48 hours for processing. There is no limit to the number of threads you submit in a month or the number of comments in each thread. If the math doesn’t add up, we will recalculate your total.

What You Don't Know: Dark robes that obscure the wearer in layers of gauzy fabric that flow like smoke off a cigarette. The origins of these robes elude you, but while wearing them encases your memory in a dense fog, so too does it obscure the thoughts of those around you. Anyone standing within five feet of you while this set is equipped will find themselves unable to get their thoughts straight. The matching tome casts confusion on the enemy, a debuff that can't be removed.

In Bitter Memory: Similar to a suit with a kimono draping over your shoulders, patterned with red higanbanas, this armor makes quite the statement. Wearing it gives you the energy of someone with authority and power, befitting a leader—a feeling you're very familiar with. The seemingly infinite pages of the tome accompanying this set has a long history of your clan written inside, all as you remember it. You have the ability to cast a non-dispellable bullseye mark on your target, drastically reducing their magical defense along with inflicting Curse (depletes target's SP over time) and Seal (prevents target from using anything that requires SP: skills/spells). With each bullseye spell cast, a page is taken out of your tome and folded into a paper bird, flying away as it disintegrates into nothing just a few feet away from you. Perhaps you know who this represents, but they keep leaving you. It leaves you with a terrible sense of loneliness and confusion that eats away at your mind, the effect lingering even after you take the armor off.

The Weight of Responsibility: A black and red silken kimono with long sleeves that trail behind you. Tucked into the back of your obi is a well-made dagger passed down to you by someone oh so familiar... but you can't seem to recall who. The spells cast with your tome flow through the air like watercolor but are just as deadly as before. This set of armor provides a 25% boost to your SP and nullifies all Water element attacks.
